“There is no way to peace, peace is the way.” - A.J. Muste

All right, let us get some facts down. Bohemianism came to be in the early nineteenth century when artists began to move into gypsy neighborhoods in Europe. (That is already awesome) The term bohemian refers to untraditional, antiestablishment lifestyles. As for fashion, bohemian style expresses your creativity and individuality. Nevertheless, remember! This is a casual mix of hippie, ethnic, gypsy and vintage elements.

There is so much that you can learn on this page so let us not waste time! Let us start with the color pallet. The best thing to remember is that you will want to use the earth tones. I found the pallet below on a fashion website that can be viewed right here click here for color pallet . It is a very helpful site because this is where I got most of my information on boho fashion. I think that the tips are good and I did learn a lot from the site. Nevertheless, this blog is for personal growth and I want to be able to grow with the information that I acquired on the fashion site.

After looking at the pallet provided you may be thinking “but I thought this was a state of mind!” well it is. Just because there is, a color pallet does not mean that you have to dress only using those colors. I would like to show you how you could achieve this look by selecting some colors that are not on the color pallet. I mean, I guess it would be nice to but then you would blend in with the others. When dressing I would suggest to add your own style to what you are wearing. For instance, check out these pictures, I got them from Chictopia.com.
My first choice is:

It is worn by a gal who goes by Nino, she calls it
Casual Bohemian Inspired Look she wrote “I love free-flowing fashion that you can achieve with maxi dress or maxi skirt, super comfortable and boho-chic at the same time. In order to make it little bit different I like to add glamorous vintage elements like this fabulous necklace.’ If you would like to see more of her, her blog is click here.

As for me, I must say that the maxi skirt is beautiful and flattering. You will notice that I write about flattering things a lot on this blog because I have an ugly “pear-shaped” body. I also like how she used the cognac colored belt with her blazer, it shows that you can incorporate the bohemian look into your work attire.
My second choice is:

This pretty gal’s name is Belinda she gave the look the simple name Boho. She is wearing a nice royal blue strapless maxi dress accompanied with calf high gladiator sandals (very boho), a skinny belt, and a headband. Her blog was not listed but you can see more of her on chictopia, her username is belindabenham (click on username to get a peak).

I have not really touched down on bohemian jewelry but I should be getting to that soon. I really wanted to show you that you do not have to stick to the pallet to achieve the boho look. I think beginners should until they understand what we are doing because just like anyone else, I am still learning and I would like to get better at it but I think she achieved the look very well. However, you must remember, this is only my opinion.
My third and final choice of the day is:

This creative beauty goes by Annie, on chictopia she goes by aCullen. She decided to wear this one dress, in which I found very boho and remix it four ways. She called her creation My Wardrobe Remix. The third way she did it is posted up top and if you would like to see all four ways just follow the link.
She wrote (I did not copy the whole thing) “I’ve been really excited about this wardrobe remix contest. I suppose I’m posting my ensembles so late in the game because I really wanted to think about what I chose to remix, and how I chose to remix it. So, I put on my thinking cap and came up with some great ways to remix one item of clothing from my closet. I opted for a dress I’ve only worn once in the last six months. It’s got a crazy print, and I felt that it would be a definite challenge to remix it! I have four ensembles for you!

Look Three: Boho-ChicI really loved playing up the brown and orange tones of the dress with this look. And a blog remix cannot exist without a belted scarf, in my opinion!
And now here are some tips for your own remix:
Three. If you’re remixing an item of clothing that is patterned and has multiple colors, try to accentuate or play up a different color from the garment in each of the remixes you create.”

This was my favorite look because of the print of the dress, it is a nice pattern, and it is a little brighter than the color pallet given above. If you would like to see more of her, you can type her username into Chictopia.com or you can click on her username above, or you can even visit her blog! click her for blog.

Okay, I am sorry if I had a few mistakes, I am in a rush now, but I hope you enjoyed the article.
